A mosque and a cultural center of this historic and spiritual significance is a major undertaking and requires the guidance and financial support of many. There are three types of help that you can provide:

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Event Planning


    • The ISBCC holds regular events to help raise funds for the new center. Volunteers can help with logistics before or on the day of the event. Please call our office for the most updated list of event planning opportunities: 617-876-8070.

  • Speaking / Presenting the Project


    • We are always looking for outgoing brothers and sisters with good communication skills to present the goals and opportunities this project can create not only for the Muslim community but also the non-Muslim communities.

  • Program Planning


    • We have recently established a committee that is attempting to develop an approach to programming at the ISBCC. If you have experience with Boston’s Muslim community, and an understanding of the services that any portion of our community might require, please contact us for more information on the Program Planning committee.

      Click here to donate online through our secure servers by credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

    • Mail-in Cash

      Donations by check should be made payable to the ISB Cultural Center and mailed to the Islamic Society of Boston, 204 Prospect St., Cambridge, MA 02139.

    • By Phone

      We accept credit card donations by phone. Please call 617-876-8070 to speak to a member of the office staff.

    • Wire-Transfer

      Funds can be sent to us by wire. Please contact our office at 617 876 8070 to obtain wiring instructions.

    • Company Gift Matching

      Many companies offer gift matching programs, which double any charitable donation given by their employees to a non-profit organization. Contact your company's Human Resources department to determine whether your company offers such a program and whether your donation to the ISBCC is eligible to be matched. The HR department will give you a gift matching form to complete; please mail a copy of the form with your donation to the ISBCC at 204 Prospect St., Cambridge, MA 02139.

    • Stock Donations


      • Donating stocks is a great way to support the ISBCC, and may also provide tax benefits to the donor. The ISBCC is happy to accept donations of stocks or mutual funds. For details on how to transfer funds from your account to ours, please call us at 617-876-8070.

    • Other Donations


      • We are happy to accept other donations that will support our administrative work, such as computers or software, in addition to larger donations such as real estate, or real estate income. Please contact the ISBCC office at 617-876-8070 to discuss other opportunities to support our work.
